EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency will be part of Danmarks Investeringsfond
The Danish government has today presented Danmarks Investeringsfond which is to be a strong fund that brings together EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency, Vaekstfonden and The Danish Green Investment Fund.
Danmarks Investeringsfond (Denmark’s Investment Fund) will make it easier for Danish companies to obtain financing to develop their business and export even more for the benefit of Denmark.
The new fund requires legislative changes, and the government will now initiate the political negotiations.
EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency is looking forward to the establishment of Danmarks Investeringsfond.
- We are positive about the proposal to consolidate the state's financing efforts for the Danish business sector under Danmarks Investeringsfond. The fund will build on strong, existing competencies in EKF, Vaekstfonden and The Danish Green Investment Fund and will be able to provide Danish companies with even more effective and manageable financing from the early start-up and further out into the world. This creates a better basis for the prosperity which Denmark is relying on.
- The government's proposal must now be discussed politically and will also require legislative changes. While the process is going on, it will be “business as usual” for both our customers and employees. We will with undiminished strength finance both new and existing customers, as EKF has done for almost 100 years, says CEO of EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency, Peder Lundquist.
